Righty then guys, lets get this show on the road. There has been a load of rumours going around with the trades etc.
So a'l start with my team, the biggest probably being in the QB area:
Marc Bulger for Miami No. 1 Pick, Daunte Culpepper for Miami No. 2 Pick.
I personally say neither of them!

According to Pro-Sports Daily, Chad Pennington has rejected renegotiating his contract. Could this pave the way for a trade? *shrugs*

The Vikings are shopping Culpepper around the league for a 2. Someone desperate will likely take it. 15 or 16 teams may take a look. Minny questions his leadership skills.
Miami could probably get a mid to late 3 or a 4 for Ricky Williams.
I would be surprised if Pennington plays again. The Jets may try to move up for Leinart or Young.
Ty Law may come cheap now and move to FS. He can't get the big contract now with his age.
Pats will never let Vinieteri go.
With Cundiff going to Tampa look for Matt Bryant to go the other way
Dallas also close to deals with Fabini and Mawae of the Jets......I expect the Cowboys to sign at least one of them in the first week of FA
Rumours that Shaun Alexander has narrowed his choices to Jax and Dallas seem hard to believe, in truth he wants to sign for the Jets (high profile, big TV market) but the Jets simply dont have the cash.......yet (see the paragraph above)..............my prediction for Alexander...........Arizona

Just heard a whisper...........
If Romo goes to the Sains which is being predicted probably for a #2 pick, then (and again if the CBA is agreed) Dallas is predicted to have a sniff around either Brees or Pennington. I for one hope this dont happen, not the Romo trade, if the Saints are willing to give a first day pick then more fool them, but Pennington...NO WAY!. His arm is shot his salary is waaaay to much and his cap number is close to $12M

No tag for Brees?? Its beginning to look like San Diego may not designate QB Drew Brees its franchise or transition player should the current contract impasse between the team and Brees continue through next week. Indeed, , it appears the Chargers may be prepared to let Brees test the free-agent market and, in all likelihood, walk away without the team having any say or receiving any compensation, if the Chargers and Brees do not reach an agreement on a long-term contract by the end of the week. With plenty of room under the cap, the Chargers had been expected to name Brees their franchise player even though it’s not clear when he will be able to play again after undergoing late-season surgery to repair his throwing shoulder. If indeed Brees leaves that would leave 2004 first rounder Philip Rivers as the favorite to start at QB for the Chargers next fall, although Rivers may have to beat out former Dolphin A.J. Feeley, who just recently reworked his deal with San Diego, to secure the job. And if Brees does hit the free agent market he is likely to generate considerable interest from teams looking to upgrade at QB such as Baltimore, Miami, Oakland, and possibly Detroit

The Bears still have an issue at QB. Is Grossman the man to lead them? They have planty room under the cap. Expect them to look at upgrading the QB, WR and DB positions. Brees at the Bears.... ? Im a Niners fan, and I expect them to be a player in FA Go Niners!!

He is good, but i still think that he is over-rated as a kicker. He is not top on accuracy or length. He just so happens to have made some really important kicks.

I dont know wheter to go or or If JJ lays a incentive laden, penalty ridden contract on him.....then hes worth the risk.....oh and if it pisses off folks in Philly so much the better

Iv been hearing of Brees to the Lions... interesting prospect although i have also heard that the lions staff are commiting to making Joey Harrington their man. I personally like Joey Harrington, i think he's not as bad as people say he is and i certainly hope he can get it done this year.

Looks like Culpepper may be staying with the Vikings, and the Raiders having a look at Vince Young!! ;D Link: www.realfootball365.com/nfl/articles/culpepper-collins-raiders270206.phpTo be honest tho, I think Young might get drafted by the Titans, Jets or Saints (Titans most likely because of his links to Steve McNair, tho it depends on what they want to do with Volek)..But if Young's still on the board come the 7th pick then Gimme Gimme Gimme! I agree with Stu, I like Joey Harrington and think he'll come good given time..Brees would be a good fit but I'm sure he'd like it even better if he moved up North to Oakland..Less of a commute! Lots of speculation mounting around the Texans trading the top pick now. The Jets are said to be interested in moving up for one.

And Mike, regarding what you said about Young to Raiders - look halfway down on this link www.nfl.com/nflnetwork/story/9269708Looks like if Cutler is selected before young, then you got a chance there. Otherwise, i think you'd be alright taking Cutler himself. PS - Patrick Ramsay to... somewhere else.
