John Tomase, of the Boston Herald, reports the Green Bay Packers are currently in negotiations with PK Ryan Longwell, but are rumored to be considering letting Longwell go and make an attempt to sign New England Patriots PK Adam Vinatieri. The Patriots have until Friday, March 3, to strike a deal with Vinatieri or he will become a free agent.

Mike Mayock, of the NFL Network, said he feels Vanderbilt QB Jay Cutler is the top quarterback in the 2006 Draft. He believes Cutler has a better arm and a quicker release than either USC QB Matt Leinart or Texas QB Vince Young. Maycock said, "Big arm. I think he helped himself and I truly believe he can go anywhere from No. 3 to No. 9."
I tend to agree with him.....Young hasnt helped his chances at the combine

Could see another Aaron Rogers scenario? Slipping waaaaaaaay down the board? Goign by all the QB contraversies around at this point, i would reckon there is going to be a fair bit of investment and risk taking at that position this year. IM guessin around 4 or 5 QBs first round this year.

Another trade rumour.......
Denver supposedly has a deal in place after the first few days of free agency with Dallas that will send the 18th pick, Greg Ellis, and La'Roi Glover for picks #22, #29, and #61.
I dont think that even Denver will be as stupid as to do this deal.........

That doesnt sound so good to me really. They are good, but i dont think we need any more defensive linemen.

FOXSports.com has learned that the Seattle Seahawks have agreed to terms with Pro-Bowl running back Shaun Alexander on a whopping eight-year, $62 million deal that includes a total of more than $15 million in the first year in bonuses (signing and roster) and salary.
The Alexander deal is not contingent upon a new CBA getting done as the Seahawks have the necessary cap space to make such a move. However, the contract still has to get approved by the NFL front office and Alexander needs to sign the contract

St Louis is fast becoming the retirement home for former Cowboys...........La'Roi should shoot his agent..he should have held out for a team that at least has a shot at the Superbowl

bruce has been cut but he could still be back as a ram next year if a new deal is worked out. looks like adam archuleta could be on his way out and maybe ryan pickett (DT) as well.

He will be a good aquisition for any team! Getting on a bit, but still has the tools to get the job done!
