Broncos sucked bigger than a big sucking thing against the 'Phins....whats happened Stu??. Dolphins actually looked decent....if they eliminate the dumb penalties
Cardinals had the New York Football Giants in a hole but again found a way to lose....(well Kurt Warner actually) Warner makes too many bad decisions in my opinion.and hes less mobile than Vinny!!
Anyway......despite having 5 (yes five) consecutive offensive flags on one bloody drive, the Cowboys won an opener for the first time for ages. It was an impressive performance despite the flags, despite the (not So) Special Teams play...and despite Zimmer calling an all out blitz with 30 seconds left, the Bolts on the Cowboys 40 and in a 4th and 14 situation!! Drew fumbled twice but threw 3TD's and no INT's (you watching Lewis).and JJ was just short of 100yards..so all in all.......Im happy!! ;D

Broncos lost beacuse of the heat, poor play calling, a couple of injuries, poor recieving (apart from Rod Smith who as always is phenomenal) and just general rubbishness! Primarily the rubbishness!
Shanahan has to watch himself! I'm usually up for lettin him continue, but after this - and that STUPID call to go for it on 4th and goal! - even i am losing patience after week 1!
PS - Adam, you are the Jets fan. You laughed at yourself you silly, silly boy

too right i am, should have actually been 27-0, but thanks suprisingly to fiedler and our 2nd string TE(who got more than 100 yards?! i think chaddy P is just not clicking and can only pass to recievers against poorer D's case and point Moss at 3rd string '03 vs. Moss at 1st string '04)
But how rubbsh was Lelie, might take the Mr.Dropsie title away from Darrel Jackson. And the Rams , well thats just plain funny

....No one can take the Mr. Dropsie title away from Darrel Jackson lol! Phins were shockingly good! Our D was just outstanding, considering it was under so much scruteny in pre season. Ronnie Brown took a while to get goin, but made some great run, and you could easily think it was his second year in the NFL, not his first ever game. Ferrotte was good also, but time will tell if it was just a first day fluke! "Remembers Griese against SD 3 seasons ago when we humped them, then from then on in he was gash!" I was starting to think that the Bronco's were the Pats in disguise Fingers crossed we can keep this up!

In that case I hope we do keep it up ;D, just eliminate those penalties . Good performance, I was expecting the scoreline to be 34 - 10 for Denver!!! Anyone noticed how quite this forum is when the eagles don't do to well, (hehe) nice one Vick

doesn't help the fact I've not seen any football or anything for the past week or been on internet. I can't really comment on the Eagles game since I didn't see it.

well heres a run down....The Eagles suck!
McNabb got nailed, and DeAngelo Hall marked Owen's out of the game. Vick rolled in once, and played awsome the rest of the game....
THE END!

You were right for the most part except TO got like 112 yards on Hall really, so that aint exactly out of the game, but he didnt get any touchdowns so...? your right that way

Oh dear oh dear oh dear looks like Eagles have their work cut out for them now career day from McNabb when playing injured, 342 Yards passing, 5 TD passes, 2 for TO 4 in under 20 mins. looks like we'll find it tough this season if this is how we play ;D true it was against 49ers, but we ripped them apart. bad news too about Pats losing to panthers Eagles 42-3 49ers

Yeah man, you can come back very happy once you beat a team that puts out a defence. And McNabb wasnt that badly hurt man. I know your an iggles fan and all but you gotta be able to know when your kidding yourself. Broncos won last night - i still aint convinced.

c'mon I wasn't being that serious, i'm not dumb enough to think beating 49ers heavily is all great, but put it this way, if we win more games like that, then obviously we'll be contenders for SB this season. I'm just saying that one way to get over a defeat is to go and knock the stuffing out the next team you play.
I know mcnabb wasn't that injured, but still, if he plays that well when not at 100%, then he'd even better when at 100%. No matter what anyone says, you can't deny that McNabb at his best can be unstoppable.
Anyway, how come you're getting at me when my team wins, rather than having a go at Scotty since Pats lost? It goes back to what I said after Pats-Raiders game. Pats didn't seem to play as well as they can for parts of the Raiders game, didn't quite look like a team that's 3 out of 4 SBs. I haven't seen this week's game, but i'd imagine it's a similar story, they didn't show their real strength for long enough. No disrespect to Panthers, but Pats shouldn't really be losing to them after form shown in recent seasons. I'm sure Scotty feels the same.
