Actually the Panthers have assembled a good squad this season........and are tough to beat especially at home.
As for the Eagles.....dont get carried away just yet......they have a fairly soft schedule this year (again) , but the next three weeks will see how they will fare (Oakland, @kc then @ Dallas). Where as Dallas have two treks in the next two weeks (@sf then @oakland) before the Iggles game

The Panthers have a very good team indeed..Infact, had it not been for a LOT of injuries last year they would probably have gone deep into the playoffs. For that reason they went under many people's radars and there were some questions over how they would cope without Musin Muhammed..But it's looking like they're doing well and are a good bet for at least going deep into the playoffs this year, if not a SB return. As for the Eagles, they're still a strong team who played a tough opening fixture against Atlanta..Both Atlanta and Philly have a good chance of being there or thereabouts at the tail end of the season, Eagles will do well in my view, how well though we'll just have to wait and see! c'mon I wasn't being that serious, i'm not dumb enough to think beating 49ers heavily is all great, but put it this way, if we win more games like that, then obviously we'll be contenders for SB this season. I'm just saying that one way to get over a defeat is to go and knock the stuffing out the next team you play. I know mcnabb wasn't that injured, but still, if he plays that well when not at 100%, then he'd even better when at 100%. No matter what anyone says, you can't deny that McNabb at his best can be unstoppable. Anyway, how come you're getting at me when my team wins, rather than having a go at Scotty since Pats lost? It goes back to what I said after Pats-Raiders game. Pats didn't seem to play as well as they can for parts of the Raiders game, didn't quite look like a team that's 3 out of 4 SBs. I haven't seen this week's game, but i'd imagine it's a similar story, they didn't show their real strength for long enough. No disrespect to Panthers, but Pats shouldn't really be losing to them after form shown in recent seasons. I'm sure Scotty feels the same. Well Rams did loose to them so yeh, id bost my balls off!! dont back down Marc haha!

Well Im lost for words................. Conservative play calling, blown coverage and the unability to hold a 13 point lead with under 5 minutes left Still, its only one game and stops the young bucks getting cocky but 2-0 would have been much sweeter than 1-1

Dont worry Adam, he will prolly be a jet again soon enough. They will swap again in two years. Thats how the game of musical wide recievers works in the NFL.

Oh..........and when you have the Redskins in 3rd and 23, backed up on their own 10 yard line.....how hard is it to contain the QB?...........I mean its not as if Brunell is Mike Vick!!........total backbreaker after two sack that he was allowed to scramble 23 yards to set up a 4th and short!!........thats what I mean about blown assignments (and thas apart from the Glenn/Williams balls ups at both TD's)
Conservative play calling Stu?..........yeah too many runs of 0-3 yards, run into the teeth of a defense that hasnt allowed a 100 yard rusher for ages.......too much dink and dunk passes as well, then as you say strange pass frenzy at the end when they should have been running draws to JJ..........Methinks Shaun Payton might just be relinquishing playcalling duties this weekend
