Well I could go into an inspirational speech but at this time of the day and week.........I canna be arsed As for the teams chances.....well the Youths have improved a bit since last year going by training which is a hell of a lot different to games, Sunday will show how much. The Seniors.............hmm different kettle of halibut. I really dont know the strength of the opposition so Im gonna reserve judgement till later. Potentially ...good players we have (Yoda speak) but it will all be down to attitude.......hopefully its not the training attitude or we are in a load of trouble

I know it's an entirely different sport, but the Liverpool cup win is a good thing for motivation, when chips are down, and you're trailing, just give it old fashioned grit and determination and you'll win. It's certainly got me more siked and fired up for sunday. It also cheered me up a bit from Celtic losing league, and O'Neil quitting after cup final. (I'm a season ticket holder at Celtic Park ). What's even better is that I'll be at Hampden for Cup Final vs United on Saturday, so I should be fully motivated for sunday. And, if you're still looking for a source of inspiration, then you should know that you share a roster with a guy who finished 2001st in Aberdeen 10K last week, with time of 1hr 3mins, what bigger source of motivation can you get? I even have my name in today's (wednesday) Evening Express,

hey it was my first 10K run, could you run 10K in 1hr 3mins? anyway, there were over 2,500 runners that took part, so I beat about 499 others. The main point is that I raised over £50 for the UNICEF 'Children of the Tsunami' Appeal. That's why I was running, I didn't care where I finished, I gave my self a target of under 1hr 30mins and I beat that easily. Plus I did start and finish the race for a good cause. That is much more important than what place I came in.

I know it was a joke , it wasn't really an actual source of inspiration for you, it was tongue in cheek. hence the afterwards. probably right about your grama though I didn't do as much training for it as I should, and then I went to fast for the first 2K and had to go slower for rest of race. Thing is, I got a good starting position before race began, and after 3K started getting over taken by most of the field. I was a bit miffed to find out I'd been beaten by 2000 other folk. Was good to get a '1st' anyway, even if it's 2001st. ;D
