Asante Samuel ended his holdout Monday, returning to the team after missing the first three preseason games. Not Clear if he signed the one year contract or he signed or another one-year deal with added clauses, just like the one Lance Briggs signed. What ever the deal he is back for this season. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

To be honest, if he really wanted to play that badly, he'd have signed already. I aint saying he aint a good player, he's one of the best CB's in the league behind Champ Bailey, but he's a cock in my mind cos he waited to so long cos he thinks he's bigger than the team!

Mabeye the same carry on at the end of the season is a possibilty but he knows the Patriots can put the franchise tag on him again.Or who knows mabeye there is a plan to trade him during the season before week 10 to trade him to the Cardinals or the Lions or even footballing hell known as the Raiders. In doing that the Patriots will teach him a lesson and that would be a warning to other players. That they are not to be messed about.

Yeah, he is going to sign a contract that has a clause so that the pats cannot franchise him next year. So in otherwords again, he's saying he doesnt care about the team, he just cares about the money, and if a team offers him more, he's outta there.
But coming from a Miami fan, you will only hear this once. He's one of the best CB's in the league, yet he still wants to contemplate leaving probably the best team in the league...not a clever cookie!
