Guys, Seeing as it's raining, and we don't know how many people are gonna be able to make it today, I think it's best that we cancel training, sorry about that! Have a good rest weekend and I'll see you all at It's a Knockout Next Week! Mike

Hey guy's.
can we please not cancel training with next to no notice. i dont have a comp at my flat and rely on the uni comp's. i can not cheek them before i leave on a sunday.
as a result i went down to training on sunday and had to call dave to make sure it was on only to find out it wasnt.
I would sugest that training should be on every week. no matter what. in the years of training with inverness the was only one training cancled and that is because it was thunder and lightning and its not wise to run in a mettle helmit in lightning.

People had been saying for some time that they had prior engagements or were injured in some way. If those people who were available had gone down then there would have been aboooout... 4 people? Something like that. Still, sorry to hear you went down man.

Sorry about that Tom. The thing was, I knew of about 10 people who definately weren't going, but the only person who I knew for sure was going was me. So I was gonna go down anyway in the hope that there might be enough people there, but when it started raining in the morning I decided that it would be better to just call training off, rather than have people making their way down there just to find out that there wasn't enough of us there. I agree I don't like it when training gets cancelled (Just ask my Mum!) and I'm sorry you didn't find out until you got down there..I should probably have gone down anyway, that way I would have at least been able to give you a lift home! I agree with Adam tho, I think it would be a good idea to set up some sort of contact list, so that if this happens again then we can all let each other know..I'd be happy to set one up if everyone emails me/PMs me their details

1st, I understand that some people may not be able to make it every sunday, im a prime example of this.
2nd, Im new to this team and i'm only just adjusting to how this team works.
Can i make a sujestion, if people cant make it they should know about it before hand, therefor we should know if it is going to be cancled at least two days in advance.
If training is not on, can it pleast be stated clearly on here on friday night.

Just to clarify...There is a system in place for cancelling training - Me and Dave decide around 10.30 that morning and post on boards and phone people round.
It just happens that on 3rd May neither Dave or I were taking the training, and the guys were doing it for the first time in order to give folks a session. Unfortunately the weather let them down.
However, I take on board the views expressed and we can review our proceedures on cancelling training.
There is always going to be times when either Dave or me or both of us will not make training and what we need to ensure is that we get more people to help out and get people through the coaching course.
See ya all Sunday - remember registration stuff - please no rain!!!

Yeah, good idea tom, although throughout the week there was talk of it being canceled, it was sadly the weather that put a stop to it, but we cant control everything or predict the weather. Last year was crap for this, it would be blazing hot sunshine up until 1pm on the sunday, then chuck it down with everything it had some weeks! Never mind, fingers crossed for some sun!
