Owens Hates Heat For Wearing Cowboys Jersey
It looks like T.O. has p.o.'ed a lot of Eagles fans on Monday.
The attention-seeking Eagles receiver is getting a lot of criticism because he donned a Dallas Cowboys jersey in the locker room Sunday after the Eagles' humiliating defeat in Dallas.
So far, about 80 percent of the messages sent to NBC10.com say Owens was wrong.
Writes one fan: "We should have a "I hate T.O. Pep Rally." All former T.O. fans can throw their T.O. jerseys into a giant trash can."
Another fan: "How dare T.O. disrespect our city and fans. This is unforgivable."
Adds viewer Emidio T. Spino: "Fans ought to turn their backs to him after he scores a TD."
And writes viewer frbruce: "His donning a Cowboys' jersey is just another tactic in the many that he is employing to get us to get rid of him."

Owen's fashion statement didn't play well in Philadelphia on Monday morning. Fans weren't pleased on sports radio Monday morning, with 610 WIP hosts Angelo Cataldi and Rhea Hughes also voicing their disgust with Owens.
If you missed the story, Owens left the visiting team locker room Sunday wearing a Michael Irvin Cowboys jersey and kept the jersey on for the team's flight back to Philadelphia after their 33-10 loss.
Here's what Gannett News Service's Kevin Roberts said about the incident:
"Veteran NFL observers were hard pressed to remember a time when a player in a losing locker room donned the jersey of the team that just wiped the floor with them."
From Les Bowen at the Daily News:
"At the end of the game, Owens was the first Eagle up the tunnel, smiling enigmatically, perhaps to signal that the Cowboys fans leaning over the railing yelling insults weren't bothering him. Or maybe he was just contemplating the stir he knew he would create with the Michael Irvin jersey he was about to don in the Eagles' locker room."
John Smallwood on Philly.com:
"Terrell Owens, who caught five passes for 50 yards with no touchdowns, didn't play well enough to warrant his wearing a Dallas Cowboys Michael Irvin throwback jersey in the Eagles' locker room after a humiliating loss, either.
But that's an issue between him and his organization - not that I expect management or any of his teammates to say anything to Owens about it You know, it's just T.O. being T.O. again."
Owens has pulled a lot of stunts and he’s very good friends with Irvin, but he may have crossed a line with Eagles fans that they'll never forgive.
