same here, I'm fine with the £26.50 or whatever the cost per jersey is, as for the Jersey colour - you could see if they have enough of the White version of the UNLV Jerseys, just to see what they might say for that. Like this one: store.cstv.com/marketplace/store/Vendor326/fullscale/unl383f-c.jpgHaving said that, the red ones still look pretty sweet

Sorry there's been no updates recently on the new jerseys front guys.
To bring you all up to date, basically we were all set to go with the college jersey thing that Adam had been looking into, but then the guy Adam was dealing with went quiet on us and we haven't heard anything since.
In the meantime, Dave was contacted by a former Granite City Oilers player saying that he'd found a heap of Oilers jerseys in his loft that we could have once he was back from his holiday, but he's never been back in touch with Dave since then.
I've been spending quite a lot of time this week looking at various different options and I'm hoping we can make some progress with this soon, as it would be nice to get the new jerseys this season, especially seeing as we have some grant money to help cover it.
The link you posted looks like it could be an option Gary, my only question is do they deliver to the UK (I'm about to do some investigating to find out!). If they do then it might definately be a go-er as the prices seem really good.
Cheers,
Mike

After further investigation, they do indeed ship to the UK! I would suggest people have a look at the jerseys available on this site as most of them are an affordable price and we can see what people like the best. My personal favourite is this one www.sportsunlimitedinc.com/don-alleson-custom-football-jersey-757.html, but with red (scarlett or cardinal) inserts and numbers instead of blue. With the current exchange rate it would work out at approx £20.70 - £23.80 (depending on how many we order) per shirt (plus Shipping and Tax costs) and it looks like a slightly better quality of jersey and there are more sizes available. It would be kinda like the Indianapolis Colts' jerseys, but with red rather than blue. What do people think? Mike

I think the committee decided on mainly white with red in the end, as it would give us two kits (that plus the red ones we already have).
Just to add another option into the mix, the ones that Gary suggested are so well priced that you could get two jerseys (one mainly white and the other mainly red) for about £26 per player..Or is that just a bit crazy?
I personally like all of the jerseys that have been suggested, and the more I look at them, the more I like the ones Gary originally suggested. The only drawback I see with them is the quality (I.E. you don't get the mesh part to the jersey, etc.) but in saying that, they look as if they'd be quite similar quality and material wise to the original TGPL jerseys that we had, which were still pretty good quality, just a bit small by the time we all grew!

Look, lets just assign someone to chose which jerseys we get and give them 1 day to chose, 1 day to run it by us then we shall have them ordered. If he is alright with it then I'd trust Mike's judgement on the shirts.

I propose we take every available option, and those who turn up at training on Sunday get the say in it, no show - no opinion. Seems fair to me....

Whilst I'd be happy to just pick one and go with it if that's what people want me to do, I would like it to be a team decision. With that in mind, I will take a list of the options (including images of the jerseys photoshopped onto our players - ok maybe not the photoshop part!) along to training with me on Sunday and everyone can have a vote for which they would prefer. I will also post the options and images (or links to them) on here (hopefully sometime tomorrow) with a rough idea of the prices so that people can see them before Sunday and anyone who won't be there on Sunday will have a chance to voice their opinion/cast their vote too. I'll also be looking for people to give me an idea of what size and jersey number they want within the next week - don't post them on this thread though, I'll start a seperate one so that this can be kept purely about the jerseys! Everyone think that sounds like a good way to do it? Cheers, Mike
