well, Eagles are not gonna use 1st round pick on a Safety - they'll have Dawkins at least for this year, and also have Mikell, Considine and Reed - so Safety isn't essential enough for a 1st pick. Maybe take one in the 3rd for next season - somebody a bit raw and not 'finished' article that Jim Johnson can mould into a Dawkins of the future.
It'll either be a WR if DeSean Jackson is still on the board (and we're still at 19) if not, then Eagles can pick just about anyone they think can be a difference-maker. OT will get some depth added - and we like our DTs well stocked too. CB depends on the Sheppard situation. DE could do with a decent rookie to keep the four rotation guys on their toes. A RB/FB is likely at some stage to replace Tapeh/lessen the load on Westbrook on goal line plays, etc.
Eagles can even afford to move up or down pretty easily, cos they have 8 picks and are gonna get between 2 and 4 comp. picks too - so we can move up and still have a bunch of guys drafted for now and later.
