Randy Moss knows what he has to do just knuckle down and play he has been warned this is his last chance. Not happy with giving up the 110 th pick would have preferred giving up the 127th.

hahaha! Scotty you tight-arse Pats fan!
The thing I dont get about it is this:
Last year they had the WRs with the likes of Moss, but no QB This year they have drafted their franchise QB but now havn't the recievers to throw to!

Well here's a trade that worked out better than I was expecting, after initially wanting a 4th round pick for Josh McCown, the Lions have also thrown Mike Williams into the bargain for the same price, sending the pair to the Raiders in return for the 105th pick in the Draft (Through Arizona). A little surprised at how cheaply the Patriots got Moss, but I think the time was right for him to move on. The Raiders need to make a fresh start and it's really good to see that they're setting out to do so. You make a good point Stu, however, I'm actually quite happy with our receviers this year. It now appears that Jerry Porter is happy to stay with the team, so we have him, plus the feeling is that Ronald Curry, if he can stay healthy, can make the step up to being a starting receiver. Furthermore, we've drafted Johnnie Lee Higgins, who gives us a legitimate deep threat (lost slightly with Moss being traded) and as I said also just traded for Mike Williams from Detroit. Williams hasn't ever managed to show his full potential yet in the NFL, but he does still have that potential so we'll see! Drafting Zach Miller also means we have improved receiving options at TE, which have been missing since we traded Doug Jolley a few years back, Courtney Anderson's done well, but he's more of a blocking TE who can also catch passes, whereas Miller's a pass-catcher. that was a wise move drafting Higgins, have liked what I seen from him this past college season, should be a good receiver since he has a decent QB to get him the ball, he's also gonna be a pretty decent returner with that speed. I reckon the only thing stopping him being drafted earlier was his size. Should get some game time this season me thinks.

Quite liked the Broncos picking up Marcus Thomas at DT. He had some issues before, but if we can harness his incredible talent and keep him controlled as far as discepline goes, then he could be a big steal for a 4th rounder. I am very annoyed that of all the teams in the league, the RAIDERS had to nab Michael Bush!
Broncos 4 pics were 3 D-linemen and an O-lineman. Building the trenches of the future.

So is that what Raiders fans do for entertainment? Suppose it's better that watching their DBs get burned each and every week

So is that what Raiders fans do for entertainment? Suppose it's better that watching their DBs get burned each and every week Actually, our DB's were probably the best part of the team last season. The shirt burning is a bit harsh..I mean come on, they would have been much better painting it white and blue, smearing some prawn mayonaise randomly over it and selling it on ebay as a genuine game-worn Patriots jersey, then they could have made some money for it! I was quite surprised that Moss didn't end up in Green Bay. I would have understood it if the Raiders had got a 1st or 2nd round pick for him, but surely the Packers would have been willing to part with a 4th rounder for a player like Moss. You wander if they were a bit surprised too at how cheaply he went. Fair play to New England though, there'd been rumours about Moss possibly going to the Patriots since midway through last season, but they waited until they knew they could get the best price for him and then made a move.
