were will chicago go for a qb as they have such a low draft place and all the good qbs would have gone by then, could they really kepp grossman in there or would they trade for him.

I reckon they'll stick with Grossman for at least another year, unless they get a good opportunity in the draft or free agency to improve. In Grossman's defense he, stats wise, was one of the top quarterbacks in the league in half of the games he played this season, and you've got to remember that this was his first full season as a starter, so he's still learning. As long as the defense keeps playing as well as it does I don't see any need for Chicago to panic buy, but if the right opportunity comes along they might be tempted to make the change. Mike

What Favre says, usually goes in Green Bay. They could do with a play-maker like Randy Moss up in Green Bay. Would really help stretch the field and allow them to concentrate more on getting their running game working again. They may well manage to get Adrian Peterson in the draft.

The sticking point with Moss and Porter trades may well be who/or what is offered in exchange. I can't see Al Davis wanting to let Moss go for anything other than a first round pick, so teams may need to offer a player trade to tempt him, but who they'd offer would also be a very big question. Green Bay aren't gonna give away Driver, and they need to build through the draft, so it'll be interesting to see if anything happens there. Porter is more likely to leave, as he's wanted to for almost a year now, although he may feel differently what with a new HC and all. But the problem here is that trading Porter would actually result in a 3 million dollar cap hit for the Raiders, so they actually lose money offloading him, which means that the offer would need to be a good one to tempt the Raiders. I'd like them both to stay, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them both get traded, what happens if they do leave and who the Raiders turn to to replace them will also be very intteresting to see. In my view Ronald Curry could comfortably move up to be a 2nd Receiver, but there'd still be a gap across the other side of the field. Mikey

Mike, I believe Randy Moss is the highest paid WR in the NFL and Lamont Jordan is the 4th highest paid RB. Very little value there! No wonder we can't afford a decent offensive line! Trade Moss for a 2nd round pick from Green Bay! Cut Jordan or make him take a big pay cut. Keep Porter for now .... Ian
