Well my internet service provider has been taken over or something and we are basically being robbed of our last months service! They are pointing the gun at our heads and saying "sign up with us now for a minimum of 12 months and we shall reconnect you within the hour - if not, then bugger you!" We were intending on going with Sky Broadband next month, but we have to wait until we are out of contract with the other bunch.
So, in short - I dont have the internet at home until sometime in december! This will make things more difficult for me with uni, and more importantly, fantasy football!

If you can get it, Telewest is a good choice. Originally ordered broadband and phoneline from BT, 6 weeks later, and still no Internet access despite being told line was activated. Changed to Telewest cable broadband, took only 6 days from order date for modem to arrive, and worked it worked as soon as it was connected up. About £25 per month gets you 4 meg bandwidth, no limits, perfect for TVU

We are getting Sky Broadband, we decided a while ago. Dad is currently trying to slug it out so we get back the remaining 3 weeks of our contract with the company that we had before the takeover. What a bloody hassle!
