Is this the end for Hartley and Pressley at Hearts ?
Pressley loses Hearts captaincy
Steven Pressley is no longer the captain at Hearts Pressley has been at Hearts since 1998 Scotland defender Steven Pressley has been stripped of the captaincy at Hearts, BBC Sport understands.
The 33-year-old will not feature against Falkirk on Monday and Christophe Berra will lead the team.
Last month, Pressley spoke publicly of "significant unrest" at the club, following the departure of head coach Valdas Ivanauskas on sick leave.
Pressley has been at Tynecastle since 1998 and signed a two-year contract extension in March 2005.
Hearts officials would not be drawn on the matter and were refusing to speak to the media prior to kick off in Falkirk.
The Edinburgh side have gone off the boil in recent weeks and have not won a game since they hammered Dundee United 4-0 on 1 October.
Fellow Scotland international Paul Hartley, who flanked Pressley when he read a statement outlining the players' unrest, has been dropped to the bench for the Falkirk match.
Interim coach Eduard Malofeev continues to oversee the team and will do so for the match against Rangers on Sunday.
But BBC Sport understands Eugenijus Riabovas will take over the manager's role after that game.
Riabovas has recently steered FBK Kaunas to the Lithuanian title and his arrival will cast further uncertainty over the future of Ivanauskas, who is recovering from health problems.

Gotta feel sorry for the guy, Pressley eats, breaths and sleeps Hearts and has done everything he can to keep the club from going downhill and he basically gets chucked out for being honest. Romanov is gonna destroy Hearts, once he finds out he doesn't like his new toy, he's gonna leave and Hearts will be in an even worse situation than before. He hasn't even done anything with the debt they had, it's still there, only difference is it's to a Lithuanian bank and not a Scottish one. If Pressley goes (he'll end up with no choice) then expect a few empty seats around Tynecastle. No telling what's gonna happen after tonight's result (1-1 draw) Pressley was dropped, and Hartley and Neilson we're only on bench, Hartley came on for about 30 seconds at the end

Apparently, Pressley walked out, then was stripped of the captaincy
Cant say I blame him, Hearts are a joke, pure and simple......Hartley and Neilson on the bench last night and only starting with thre Scots?
Romanov has used Hearts as a way of moving his money around Europe, He pronised them a new ground, he promised world class players and he promised a championship and a champions league crown.
What has he given them?..a team full of second rate, on loan Lithuainians, Georgians and Eastern Bloc duds.
I would say Im sorry for the Hearts fans.....but I aint. They all bought into this Romanov Revolution a couple of years back and actually believed the con man.....now their club is going down the toilet quickly with maybe no hope of rescue

For a moment there it looked so promising, so they flung themselves behind Romanov. They were duped by the whole Abramovich thing with Chelsea and now they are crumbling and fast becoming the saddest story in Scottish football.
On a lighter note - what you reckon the chances of a free agent Steven Pressley joining former teammate Scott Severin in Aberdeen? hmmm
The answer is probably slim to none, as the old firm will snap the both of them up if they ever want to leave Tynecastle.

Craig Gordon and Hartley were seemingly going to walk out with him, but Elvis wouldnt let them??
As for Lithua....sorry...Hearts...it won't be long before fans start to protest and the whole thing crumbles. Here's hoping for Scottish Football.
