Just a modify to my post, i dont remember this episode as a kid lol, would of been a little worrying as a 5 year old, if a dodgy ep of Rainbow had got me thinking or laugh at that age.
Yeah, think its a made up one for a laugh!

funniest thing I've seen in a long while, I wonder what the schools were like the next day if it was actually broadcast? Everyone singing 'pluck pluck pluck a way'. If it had gone out today it would be in every town in the country. It sounded more like something from Austin Powers or even Monty Python. But I doubt it was ever actually released, they wouldn't have put Rainbow in the 'Top 100 kids shows' programme on C4 and the show wouldn't have carried on for a further 8 minutes, let alone through 70s and 80s. It's a good laugh, if you remember watching rainbow when you were a kid, I do, it just makes you laugh out loud. now that i seen it again, it does seem dubbed. it seems to be something that they did for fun while on a break or something like that. Like they voiced over a show that was previously recorded. you can see that the human actors lips move at wrong times, it's hard to see as it's so small, but that's the idea. still funny though
