Since it's only 4 weeks until the draft, has anyone got ideas on who looks good? I haven't watched any College ball, but have been looking at the profiles on NFL.com and have a vew ideas on possible stars on offense. I'll list them and you can tell me what you think. QB: Ryan Fitzpatrick - Havard - Seems to have the same good qualities as McNabb, good passer and can scramble well. RB: Ronnie Brown - Auburn - HB in a FB body. Good speed despite size. Good power, can protect QB too. Carnell "Cadillac" Williams - Auburn - Worked well with Brown with Tigers. Good speed and moves. If anyone gets the pair should be good partnership. WR: Braylon Edwards - Michigan - Good WR, but can pass, run, tackle too. Good for an injury hit roster. Also allows for effective reverses/play fakes. Chauncey Stovall - Florida State - Good Big-Play WR. Can step up a notch if team needs it. Good YAC numbers. That's a few that I think seem to be potential stars. What do you think? Draft profiles are at www.nfl.com/draft/profiles

I think it depends on what players teams need, personally this is my opinion on who needs what and who may fill the gaps; Dolphins: RB RB & RB, either Cedric Benson or Ronnie Brown, maybe a QB, depends on how AJ does in pre season Cowboys: Difficult.........CB and a solid WR, I don't believe Keyshawn & co can step up for Bledsoe....Mike Williams, big reciever like Drew Bennet. Got 2 picks in the first round to make use of. Who knows, Suprebowl bound are they Dave? Rams: A speedy TE.........Possibly Heath Miller, maybe a shot at FS as well. With speed at WR, TE and RB, the Rams must be back in bowl contention, surely Broncos: A WR to start opp A lelie and move Rod Smith to 3rd WR, the later pick theoretically restricts talent, but anything can happen, maybe a D lineman who can pressurise opposing QB's and allow Bailey to excel in the secondary. Jets: Better be careful after the last slating I got from Adam . Defense as a whole, patchwork though. Must hold teams if Pennington, Martin, Coles & McCareins hit it big. Eagles: With so much talent it's difficult to decide what needs attention, I say LB, if they can steal two solid players who can cover well and pressurise opp QB's Phily will finally get their hand on the Vince Lombardi Patriots: Sorry scott, no three in a row ;D. releasing Ty Law is one thing, but not Troy Brown!!! multiple position player and what do the Pats do......release him . Need someone who can fill his place. Last pick of Rnd 1, they may have problems. Still strong team but no win in bowl XL Come on guys, whats each persons opinions on their own teams needs, player who could help etc

Hmm......good question, and all depends on what deal is done on draft day. I hope....aye really hopw that we draft Shawn Merriman if he is still there at #11 but I doubt it....if not then Marcus Spears or Derrick Johnson. There is a lot of talk of the Cowboys lookng to Mike Williams but Im certain that the two first round picks will be taken on defence.........I mean a front four of Merriman, Glover, Ferguson and Glover will scare the crap- out of most QB's . LB is another priority as is a back up for JJ, hence the rumours surrounding Tuna looking at Ronnie Brown. As I said if we can nab Merriman or even Spears I will be very happy........ most mock drafts have the Cowboys pickeng him or Spears....none of them ar "reaches" either. One of the sleepers in the draft is Brodney Poole an excellent safety who WILL come in and start wherever he goes.........hopefully to Dallas (in the 4th )

I agree that Phily don't need to look for too many superstars, but possibly a WR if Todd Pinkston doesn't get his act together and toughens up, I mean in the Superbowl he went out because of cramp , yet TO plays with screws in his leg and still shows his quality. It's not the first time I've questioned Pinkston's toughness, in one of the last games before Playoffs he simply wimped out of a catch because of two Ds were coming in for a hit. True it may have hurt, but what's the point of joining NFL if you're afraid you might get hurt? That's how players lose teams cos they can't take the pain. Also maybe a QB who can scramble well? All we have is a pocket passer, did you see the superbowl. Maybe a guy who can make passes after a 14-second scramble, kinda like that guy we had early in the season, don't know where he was on Feb 6th.

Shaun did you just say our Broncos need a new WR?! I dont think so. Priority is D-line and on offence it would be O-line me-thinks

What we need is a speedy CB to bring back some life into our secondary!

Either way dude. He was a Pats linebacker who most likely will be out, but the fact remains that his reasons for remaining out are certainly nothing to be joked about in any context.

I'm sure you didnt do the same when faulk went out?
fair enough mild stroke and minor surgery are a little different but the thought probably crossed your mind saying "rams have lost there best RB we might have a chance against them!"

When a team doesnt have one of their players and we're about to come up against em i look at it from both sides of the coin:
Shame Opportunity

What about when TO got injured? Even though he did make Superbowl, did you think Shame & Opportunity when it looked like he'd miss it? Or was it 5% Shame 95% Joy ;D I know dave was 0% Shame 100% Ecstasy Mind you, you wouldn't have felt shame for him after he got injured after Superbowl. Didn't you hear? He took a sore shot to the ego. And for those of you questioning the swollen heads of most Philly players, did you know they're considering changing the name for next season? There gonna be the Philadelphia Egos. Found an interesting pic for my avatar, why don't you have a closer look dave ;D

right click on it and go to view image on menu, anyway, since I'm a philly fan, it wouldn't be just any random guy in cowboys endzone, it's a certain #81 on the mini-star in endzone, though picture got shrunk because it's too big to go full sized.
