Is anyone planning on heading to one of the London games this year? I thought there were two this year.

Marc, Goodell has said he is continuing to look into the possibility of a second wembley game. link is here: www.nfl.com/news/story?id=09000d5d815bec19&template=with-video-with-comments&confirm=trueHe also says that he is looking into giving London a franchise . Sorry but this just won't work, because first off what division and conference do you put that team into and then theres the issue of how many fans will turn up on a regular basis. It's a stupid idea

If they do decide to give scotland a game then i'm definatly going. Waiting to see what the second game will be to see if it will be worth it.
Marc, shocking observation by the way

up until the Wildcard game I was kinda hoping the Eagles rumour was true..but now (like them) I'm kinda thinking they got things to iron out in Philadelphia before stepping in on a plane over here..
a game at Hampden/Murrayfield would be great - Hampden's got better atmosphere (I feel) but Murrayfield's got more seats & probably the better surface
interesting to see when they might have it though - would have to be a different week than London, probably in November, but teams will be more reluctant to travel nearer then end of season...
any thoughts on teams...probably none of the previous ones...Chiefs & Seahawks have been mentioned before, but that's hardly a big draw match-up based on this season..

Obviously I would love the Falcons to come over but that isn't going happen as I imagine we are in the bottom third of teams supported in this country. I think your UK fan base would keep you in the the running for playing over here. As all the previous and upcoming games have been NFC v AFC, I'd imagagine they'll keep that going to prevent big rivalry, divisional matchups from being played in the UK.I think most likely from the NFC would be Cowboys, Bears, Packers and AFC: Jets, Ravens, Steelers. As for the match-up that you mentioned, Seahawks v Chiefs, that may have been interesting three years ago but Since Shaun Alexander left Seattle, they have nosedived and Chiefs haven't been respectable since they had Trent Green. That game would hardly be a showcase for the NFL would it.

yeah, I was kinda thinking the Jets might be a possible one...though I can't see them giving up a home game at the new Meadowlands stadium, maybe as the 'away' team
Bears/Packers might be a good shout both cos of the fan base & the fact no NFC North team has been involved yet nor AFC North/South. So if NFL alternate it, one of those divisions might be next
also depends on who's playing who next season...Seahawks/Chiefs is only mentioned cos they happen to be playing next season..

As you may have guessed I will walk through fire to get to this game! Have registered interest already but my dad is all moaning about the money and stuff. Gonna keep badgering him into it, if not then I will buy a second ticket anyway and sell it to one of you guys or something.
