Right guys, sorry I'm so late posting details - Uni work's been taking over a bit the last few days. As Scott said, please meet at Morrison Drive at 10.15am for the games this Saturday. If possible, please get ready before you head down - there will be limited changing facilities in the form of Chris' flat if people do need but obviously it'll be a bit of a squeaze if we all try and pile in there. The Lanarkshire Steelers are unfortunately not able to make the trip up this weekend - however, the Glasgow Hornets are now very kindly going to play us twice so that we avoid a potential headache with trying to organise the return date with them. This means that we will still have two games to play and we should be done by about 2pm. What you need > Shorts/Trousers with NO pockets (including zip up/taped ones), ideally black although don't worry if you only have a different colour at the moment. > Socks (Ideally Red football socks but again don't worry if you have a different type/colour at the moment. > Football Boots/Cleats/Trainers (The best bet is moulded studs/moulded blades as these are definitely allowed, however if you want to wear metal studs, please see my clarification on them here. There is a chance the game will be on Astroturf, so please also bring appropriate footwear for that (i.e. trainers/astro shoes) > Mouthguard (these are mandatory and all players must wear one whilst playing, unless they are exempted by medical certificate. I have a couple of cheap (new) ones that I can sell to people on Sunday, however it's always better to get your own one first so that you can mould it properly, etc. As for game Jerseys, those that already have should bring their White game jerseys on Sunday. Those that don't will get given them on the day. > Can I also ask that if anyone has a spare white t-shirt they bring that too please? (there's a chance I won't have enough game jerseys to go round). At the moment, those playing on Sunday are; Chris Sharp Chris Tilley Gary Scott Dyker Me Nick Calum Scott Forbes Todd Ryan Daz Grant (Travis) Adam Ross Marc Walden Kieran Andy Shaun If I've missed anyone out from that list please let me know asap. Think that's everything, any questions just let me know! Cheers, Mike

Great wins yesterday on complete opposite ends of the spectrum.
Offensive dominance in the first game which saw us score on every drive. Offense misfired in the 2nd game but a great comeback following some great second half defense. Winning on the 4th down with 4 secs on the clock is maybe cutting it a bit too fine though.
Think we definitely need some coaching on defense.

1st Game Oilcats 60 Hornets 42 We Scored 9 TD's and missed 3 extra points. Think 8 passing and 1 running. Don't ask me for stats
2nd Game Oilcats 27 Hornets 25 Down by two scores at half time. Defense turned it around. We scored with a length of the field run by Mike on the first play of the 2nd half. They scored back. We got to one score behind. I was then picked off with about a minute + left. Defense get the ball back and we moved the ball down the field. Scored on 4th down with 4 secs on the clock to take us to 27-25. They got the ball back but Gary picked the QB who tried to throw a bomb.

Any chance of a fuller report on these games? And when are the next Home games? Ian Hey Ian, How's things? Just in the midst of sorting out the final 4 league games of the season at the moment so will let you know when the next home date is as soon as I do. We're also looking at having a couple of friendlies/tournaments after the season is over too, the majority of which will ideally be at home, although I'll have to wait and see what we can get organised! Cheers, Mike
