A bit surprised about that, he wasn't anywhere near the disruptive levels he was at Philly (and 49er's). Even if he's 35, you'd more likely stick with him for maybe another season. I reckon he's got at least 1 decent season left, then next year he'll begin to slow up.
I don't know if he's desperate enough to go to Oakland yet (harsh, but true), from a publicity point of view, Washington would seem to be the likely place. That way he's got at least 4 games playing under the 'disgruntled ex-employee' tag.

Latest rumour places him with the New York Football Giants..........I doubt if he would fit into Coughlans disciplinarian plans
Seems like he was cut for "football reasons"......(freeing up cap room to sign Ware possibly).......sources are citing his poor route running, his drops and his inablity to beat jams on the line as reasons.........which I think is a bit harsh, however I do agree with you Marc that he has a year, maybe two left in his tank as there is no doubts about his physical shape

If the reported cap hit of $9.675 million is accurate,is this a record for a cap hit of player that was released ?

LOL!! Dave, that's brilliant!!
Chris, I thought theonion.com was meant to be made-up stories, not the truth! Haha..
Just kidding. I actually think T.O. didn't do too much wrong in Dallas. Yes he had the odd moment, but nothing more than a LOT of other players have. It's just that the media seem to focus in on it when it's T.O. a lot more.
You also need to remember that it's not like he's going out and shooting himself, getting arrested or getting caught DUI or in possession of drugs (all things that have happened to other Wider Receivers over the past season).
Now if they can just persuade him to wear a gag for the next year he'll be absolutely no trouble!! Lol..
