Hey Marco your Iggies only had to face an Adrian Peterson offense, easy to win a wild card game when the opposition dont have a passing game to mention. As for not making the playoffs thats the way it goes. You only got in with help from the most unlikely source ie the Faiders.
As for your head coach Andy walrus face Reid I hope he is a better coach than a father considering his child,s recreational drug habit. Also another factor you might need to think about in your little playoff run is how settled is captain dry heaves stomach, you Maye better watch what he eats just in case nerves get the better of him.Like what he did in the last big game he played in.
Another thing captain dry heave should have no problem understanding that overtime is played to a finish in the playoffs.Because i remember during the regular season game against the Bengals he didn't realise there was only one period of overtime.Makes you wonder what his intelligence level is.I knew there was only one peroid of overtime, all the NFL fans knew that.Only captain dry heave didnt..Also is he staying where he is because i remember he wanted out at the end of last season.

And I thought you didn't like the Eagles. Lol. I'm an Eagles fan but I don't care what you said because that was one hell of a rant. Bravo! Come to think of it you actually sound like most Eagles fans

simmer Scotty, was just a cheap pop, you know I can't resist if I see an opening sure, we were lucky to get their in the end, but apart from the 'skins game - we've played well the past few games and have beaten all NFC teams that made the playoffs this season with the exception of the Panthers who we haven't played yet. More importantly our D has really stepped up and has held the last eight opponents to under 12 points per game - and with the exception of the Baltimore game, we've never lost a game by more than 7 points. We're forcing turnovers and getting decent kick returns. This has lessened the pressure and reliance on McNabb and co, and has even allowed Westbrook to have a pretty quiet few games, with the 71 yard TD catch and being an exception. We have confidence that we don't need to score a TD every drive because our D has been getting 3-and-outs and turnovers that lessen to work we have to do. And as for McNabb not knowing about regular season ties, to be honest, if you're any kind of team/player in this league, then you shouldn't need to even contemplate scenarios that you might not win a certain game. The Eagles should have gone into that game expecting to win, and not give any consideration to the contrary. You play for the win, not for anything less. The game was one of those 'freak' things that a team that has been used to playing playoff games, or winning overtime games within a few minutes, was somehow inept at getting more than 13 points. That is very much going into the 'unknown' as far as the Eagles are concerned. It was a situation that they never considered as a possibility. McNabb is one of the most intelligent QB's there is. For a start he's in a West Coast-style offence, which is complex enough. During the 2008 season, McNabb became the least intercepted QB per pass in NFL history, he's dropped back into 2nd because he's thrown a few picks since then, but it's still a little over 2% of attempts that were ints - he knows how and when to get the ball to his target. When he throws one it gets more attention because it's so rare, and sometimes more high profile. Compare that with Brett Favre who is/was a great QB, but threw far too many stupid interceptions.

I am simmered Marco that was a cheap pop as well. But you must admit that captain dry heave was dumb ass to not know that there is only 1 period of overtime in a regular season game when 99 percent of NFL fans knew that. Also stupid for saying that he didn't know in the post match press conference.

Also stupid for saying that he didn't know in the post match press conference. Ah, better to be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt! Lol..Seriously though, if he hadn't said anything then nobody would have known he had no idea about the rule. After all, Cincinatti didn't score either. McNabb should know the rules, especially seeing as his position demands it, but you could also say that playcalling should have become more agressive as time was running out and the coaches should have been on at him to take more chances. Anyway, it's not like it stopped the Eagles getting into the playoffs in the end (although they did it the hard way!) so it's probably better for it to have happened in a game like that than one that they actually had to win. Anyhoo, we're getting off topic..Are we getting any halftime entertainment Neil? I reckon Scotty could give Bruce Springstien a run for his money any day! Haha.. Mike
