hehe, well they picked Janikowski with a first rounder before. In my opinion that one worked out fine for them The general consensus is that they will take Quinn considering their current problems at the QB position.

Moss cost a first round pick plus LB Napoleon Harris. Raiders would be lucky to get a second round pick for Moss now, possibly no more than a third. Same goes for their other disgruntled WR Jerry Porter. I can't see them drafting QB Quinn. He is bound to cost mega $s, and could turn out to be another Ryan Leaf. A better QB option would be to trade for Schaub (Falcons) or Leftwich (Jaguars). The sensible thing to do with the #1 pick (given the multiple needs) would be to trade down, but I don't think the Raiders have ever traded down. Maybe Al will use the #1 on a 7 foot tall long snapper!

I think id rather have Schaub than Leftwich, Schaub has proven he is an able QB, and would be more than welcome in Miami lol! Quinn would possibly be good in the long run, but they need a solution now!

From what I've heard about Quinn many think he's ready to come in and play straight away..However, Quinn may not be the first quarterback taken in the draft..There's a guy (Who's name I've forgotten) who may elect to enter the draft a year early, will find out his name and post it here, but anyways, apparently he's better than Quinn, tho weighing it up Quinn might be the better choice. I'd happily take Schaub or Leftwich too, tho I have a hunch that Jim Mora Jr. might end up in Washington, who are unsure about their QB for next season --> What are the chances of Mike Vick ending up there and Schaub becoming the new Falcons QB? Any team that considers Brady Quinn worthy of a top 10 pick just needs to watch film of the Sugar Bowl where he collapsed.
Mike.... the QB that you are talking about is JaMarcus Russell from LSU. Hes a junior but he may declare eligibility. Good QB but really full of himself. He quotes after LSU's demolition of Quinn's Notre dame in the Sugar Bowl "I really do think I'm one of the best (quarterbacks) in college football," Russell said. "You can't take that opinion away from me."

I reckon anyone looking for a decent WR after Round 1 would do well to pick UTEP's WR Johnnie Lee Higgins. He's maybe a bit lightweight for a WR, but he'd do a treat on Special Teams with the speed and moves he's got. Probably a Round 2 Pick, but you wouldn't go far wrong with him.

Seems like JaMarcus Russell has declared himself eligible and going to enter the 2007 draft.......as is Antonio Pittman, Anthony Gonzales and Tedd Ginn of Ohio State
