Some rule adments which are to be enforced as from now.
1.Female players are required to play in each half.
1.The clock will stop:
1.If the ball carrier is out of bounds
1.If a pass is incomplete
1.If a first down or touchdown is achieved
1.At change of possession.
1.On Extra Point Plays within the last two minutes, the clock will not run. It will start again at the snap after the change of possession.
Running
1.An Offense may use multiple handoffs behind the line of scrimmage.
1.Spinning is allowed, but the ball carrier cannot dive forward or jump to avoid a defensive player or gain yardage (no diving). Defenders are also prohibited from leaving their feet to grab a flag.
Passing:
1.Only players starting seven (7) yards from the line of scrimmage can rush the quarterback.
1.The quarterback has seven (7) seconds to throw the ball. If a pass is not thrown within seven (7) seconds, the play is dead, with a loss of down and the ball is spotted at the previous line of scrimmage.
1.If the handoff occurs behind the line of scrimmage, the “new Quarterback” has only seven (7) seconds to throw the ball. Note that all defensive players are eligible to rush after a handoff occurs.
Dead Ball
1.If a ball carrier's flag falls off, the play will be whistled dead and the ball will be spotted at the spot where the flag fell off.
1.If a player receives the ball by pass, hand off, toss or pitch, after a flag has fallen off, the play is ruled dead at the point he gains possession of the football.
Penalties
1.All penalties are 5 yards. The down will be repeated unless otherwise noted, and will be assessed from the line of scrimmage unless otherwise noted.
1. interception, afterPenalties after an interception shall be assessed from the point of the return is over and/or the play is blown dead. If the interception occurs in the end zone, the penalty will be assessed from the intercepting team’s 5 yard line.
Defensive penalties
1.Interference — 5 yards from the point of interference and automatic first down.
