Right, first of all Ill praise before I set off on a moan.
Thanks to all who turned up at Duthie Park on Sunday for the fun day in terrible weather conditions, its much appreciated by Gordon and myself..........ok now the moans.
Firstly, I was hugely dissappointed by the lack of Seniors on Sunday, I dont have to name names, you all knew about it and the only one who said that he wasnt going was Gary. It was an important event that Gordon and Scott in perticular put a hell of a lot of work into, but again....the same faces support the event.
On another and more important subject.......registration. Everyone was told that we needed, reg forms, photos, id proof and money back on Sunday, there is NO excuse for not doing this, if one guy can come in from Peterhead with the single purpose to hand in his forms then there is NO reason for them not being returned. Problem is now guys that the first game is less than two weeks away and we have 3 seniors handed back their reg forms.......totally unacceptible Im afraid. The bottom line of this is that we may have to pull the senior team out of the League AGAIN!! Ive thought long and hard about this one and to be honest i dont want to do it, but we need at least 7 registered players for the first game........Sunday is the last chance guys,.... reg forms, photo, id proof and money need to be handed in or Ill be forced to withdraw the Senior team from the league. Im sorry to the guys that have handed in all the stuff, but I fell I have no choice.......we are heading down the same route as last year with the seniors.
Dave

My bad about my photo not being in theiir, i purposely thought that seein we were registered last year that we would not need to send in a second proof of age which i'll have to find... I'm not sure if my Provisional will be in by Sunday so is it Ok for a photo of your birth certificate??

Come on guys, lets get these registration forms sorted. I know it can be a hassle getting round to filling in the forms and getting everything necessary for them but once you do it that's everything done and we can enjoy what will hopefully be a really good season The forms may look daunting but seriously they only take about 5 minutes to fill out. However, as Dave said, if you don't get them done then you won't be able to play, and if not enough people get them done then none of the seniors will get to play and that would just be a huge waste of a great chance to have a good season. Dave, would it maybe be a good idea to maybe phone people this week to remind them about the forms and how important it is to get them in on time?..Especially the likes of Keith and Ricky who don't have regular access to tinternet and so would not see this message. I understand that you may be too busy with work to do this and so I'll more than happily do it for you 'cause I'm definately not wanting to miss another season. Even if you don't have time to fill in your forms between now and Sunday, take them with you on Sunday and you can fill them in there and then. Any problems with photocopying, or if you forget to get it done by Sunday, take the stuff along on Sunday still and I will take it back to my house where I can get it scanned in and copied and taken round to Dave's house by Sunday night so that they can be sent off first thing on Monday morning. I'll even drop the stuff being copied back at your house on the same night if you want/need it back then. Anyone who forgets their form on Sunday or turns up without it I will personally drive them round to their house so that they can get it. If you're able to get your form to Dave or Gordon before Sunday then I strongly suggest that you do so in case there are any problems on Sunday. If anyone who hasn't handed in their form's yet isn't gonna be there on Sunday and can't get their forms to Dave or Gordon let me know and I'll arrange a time with you when I can come and pick it up before Sunday and I'll make sure it gets handed in. Come on guys, it's in your hands, please make sure you get your forms in....Hopefully on Monday we can all come online to find messages saying thank you to everyone for getting their forms in and looking forward to this season, rather than a message saying that the senior team has been pulled from the league. End rant. Mikey

Now for my bit of rant, Come on Guys I didn't join up with you just to find out that I can't play because of non-football related reasons. I'm not having a go cos people will probably have perfectly understandable problems with getting hold of copies of what they need. All that you need for sunday is to ask your folks for your passport or birth certificate, if it's easy to get, and either take it to mike's as he said, or go to your nearest Tesco/Asda/Co-op and you can get it photocopied there, that's how I got mine done, went to Tesco's in Inverurie and asked if I could photocopy my birth certificate, I had taken an A4 sheet of paper so I didn't get charged, also ANY library will have a photocopier, even your school must have one. Then get your photo taken at the same Tesco/Asda, like the one at Garthdee, and bring the reg fee and forms, and get them filled in on Sunday, job done. I've already missed a few sunday's and will be leaving for uni in Glasgow in September, so I want to get a few games before going down. Oh, and Dave, if Seniors have any game's against central belt teams after I go down, post it up on this board and I'll see if I can make it to them. After I go down, I'm might see you a couple of times next season, I'll hope to join up with one of the Glasgow teams next year.
