Oky doks guys, The OFL (Oilcats Football League) has been set-up on Yahoo and is ready for people to register, simply go to: football.fantasysports.yahoo.comClick on "Join A League" under Football '06 on the right hand side of the page (NOT FOOTBALL PLUS '06 AS YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT ONE) and once you're signed up find the league by entering the following info: League ID = 78051 Password = oilcats Any questions just post here! Meant to say, regarding the draft, we have the option of just doing an automated one like last year..Or this year you can also upload teams which have been picked in an offline draft (IE/ We can all get together and do a draft ourselves if people want?)..I'm happy to do either! Mikey

Problem is getting everyone together to do a draft, its probably better to do an automated draft

yeh, an offline draft would be ausome, i just dont see it being very possible. unless we do it by arranging a time and doing a draft on the forum? like getting an order then posting who we want to draft? might not work, i dunno

It would be pretty decent, but like Dave says, it's hard to get everyone around. Espec when sommit like this can take hours. Plus most folk are gonna pick pretty much the same guys they would get with the Auto-draft. For example, we pretty much know everyone's 1st picks would be anyway Plus the Auto-draft throws an element of pot-luck into things, cos depending on evryone's pre-rankings, you may not get your top some of your 4 or 5 picks. It needs some strategy, but also a bit of luck. Plus it means some trading action is more likely e.g if folk get 4 RBs and 3 WRs simply cos of the different pre-rankings. So...basically Mikey I would say "no" would be the answer to the offline-draft thing lol

Well going by personal experience I know that it takes a helluva lot of organisation and planning to organise a draft. The commish of the ALFF - of which I am the current champion - puts in a lot of time and effort. In honesty, I reckon automated draft is the most logical step. Is it going to be made a rolling draft (eg 1 to 12 and then from 12 to 1 etc...) or NFL style (eg. 1 to 12 then 1 to 12 etc...)

Am up for either option, would be good to get a draft organised but if its too much effort then thats understandable. In my opinion the rolling draft sound better than the NFL style draft.

just automate it, makes it 10times easier and fairer to those who have not got as much experience in draftin well...i.e stu not takin advantage of everyone wit his extensive plannin!...

hehe, yeah, if we did an offline draft then I would have yer number! lol I'd be ringing up teams to find out how they think they are doing and stuff! But seriously, the way we do things I'd just do automated.
