Well I'll be free on Saturday, and would be up for going to it.
Let me know when you'll be going thru Dundee and you can pick me up at the usual place (bus stop beside the shell garage)

mark, sorry mate, just checked the forum now....you should have called:(
the good news is that the agm was probably the single most boring experience of my life, other than watching a patriots superbowl walk over, obviously.
a full report complete with graphs and pretty flower bullets is being drafted by one Mr Thom Payne and should be with the com forthwith.
In short the SFFA is now dissolved with a final date to be arranged at an EGM (date to follow), it is expected this disbandenment date will be April 1st to cover any insurance for teams up to that date. There will be a full discussion on re-distribution of remaining funds on the sffa forum, so i suggest we keep a close eye on this to ensure we are not shafted with regard our cash.
BAFL now take overall control of senior flag within the UK but they are shitting themselves because so few team have registered. can we make our interest in this new league a priority matter and register immediately so they can organise devisions etc?
We are expecting all teams to simply shift over, but alas it all seems somewhat disorgansied from BAFL's end.
There was a very positive mood in the room regarding this new set-up, especially when we consider the considerable fund raising power of this new league.
in short the SFFA is now dead and gone with funding matters to be decided at a later date.
there is the intention to keep a website and forum running so that scottish teams can share thoughts and lobby the bafl where appropriate.
any queries please do give me a shout, preferably on the email above or mob number.

Thanks for going Adam, it's much appreciated!
As for BAFL, I sent off the membership applications first class on Friday, so that's all sorted hopefully.
Not many teams will have registered yet because the league was only officially announced about 2 weeks ago (plus senior teams have until the 8th Feb to apply), but I know of at least 8 Scottish teams (including us) that will be entering the Senior league, and the Youth one should be fairly healthy too.
Thanks again and thanks for the report as to how it went!
Mike
