Seriously........ Mike Vick?? what has he done this year to get a ProBowl trip.......
Ditto Chris Samuels, Larry Allen and De Angello Hall!!
How Hall can be chosen before TNew is beyond me

Mike Vick should not be there - end of story. Only reason he is going is because he is Mike Vick the Entertainer. Larry Allen aint what he used to me. DeAngelo Hall better than TNew? I would actually say that Hall has done more this year than Newman - so a tad of Bias on yer part eh Dave?

Ah Stuu............TNew's stats arent brilliant this season for the simple reason that teams arent throwing his way, hes becoming a shut down corner and thats why he should be in.....problem is that Hall has been mouthing off in the media all season how good he is and how he should be at the Pro Bowl.......put it this way, Id rather have TNew than Hall every day and thats not being biased, its me picking the best player.
Im also surprised that they didnt select Saint Favre cos hes a media darling.........and Im stunned that Eli wasnt selected considering the love affair the media have with the New York Football Giants

It,s the usual pro bowl voting of players by there reputation, look at the 3 cornerbacks for the Afc Ty Law,Cahamp Bailey,Delta o Neal. Also the receivers selected for the Afc how they can select Marvin Harrison and not Reggie Wayne is beyond me.

Well Champ has had like the best statistical season of his career - he had like 5 straight games with an interception and scored 2 or 3 TDs! With the argument about Terrence Newman and DeAngelo Hall, i wouldnt have put hall in the team either, but i suppose that i havent seen enough of the Cowboys to say how good Newman has been. I mean i could select any CB with low stats that i havent seen and just say "well, they were keepin the ball away from him." But i totally get where your coming from Dave, and your most probably right.

Michael Vick has been utter gash this year, if it werent for the fact that he is amazing at rushing, he would be lucky to be a back up in the NFL!
Champ Bailey, when i've seen Denver playing, he's been outstanding! But have to agree with you dave, biggest shock has to be Eli not being selected!

www.sportsline.com/nfl/story/9110522Good article on players that missed out. I must say I wouldnt be too big on Eli getting in. Hes a tad inconsistent for my liking. This article mentions how all the talent (especially at QB) is in the AFC and theres some fantastic players who arent making it in.

Reason I thought Eli would be in (and his stats are crap by the way) is that the Media have built him up as the second coming of Montana...........if you want to go on stats alone then Bledsoe should be in

Another big shock, is Chambers being selected. He's a good receiver, and he's in some pretty impressive company, but its only the last couple of games he's started showing some real class.

Chambers should not be there. He isnt pro-bowl calibre in my opinion. Not this year at least. Hines Ward should be there in my opinion. Or Keenan McCardell.

Deltha O'Neil leads the league in INTs i think, Ty Law is up their and on average has a high number of ackles along with his 6-8 int's, just because he has been in a crap team dont mean he is crap the D hasnt let in htat many scored this year our O just sucked donkey schlong. Champ Bailey, i thought that was a bit of a weird choice with his injurys and i didnt think he imposed as usual this year, but Stu's probably followed him closer so will know more bout him htan moi.

Finally some love for Jonathan Vilma! He's replaceing ZT in the pro-bowl line-up due to injury. He had an incredible season, just went well under the radar on a shocking Jets team. Brian Dawkins is replacing Mike Brown aswell.
