Right guys,
We have two games this Sunday against the West Coast Trojans and the Kirkcaldy Bulls. Both games will be played at King George V Playing Fields, Haining Rd, Renfrew, PA4 0AN. (Kirkcaldy and West Coast will also be playing each other on Sunday).
The first game is scheduled to start at 12.30pm, meaning that we need to be there for about 11.30am.
We will therefore be leaving Aberdeen at 8.30am from Westburn Park (<-- Please note that this has changed from the meeting place I said before as it was pointed out to me that people could park their cars there for the day).
We will be traveling by car (either 2 or 3 cars depending on final numbers). As the club doesn't have much money at the moment can I ask that everyone please brings £7.50 each to put towards petrol costs (if we use less than this then we'll divvy up the interest between everyone).
We will likely get back to Aberdeen sometime between 6 and 7pm.
What You Need To Bring
> Shorts/Trousers with NO pockets (including zip up/taped ones), ideally black although don't worry if you only have a different colour at the moment.
> Socks (Ideally Red football socks but again don't worry if you have a different type/colour at the moment.
> Football Boots/Cleats/Trainers (The best bet is moulded studs/moulded blades as these are definitely allowed, however if you want to wear metal studs, please see my clarification on them here.
> £7.50 for petrol.
> Lunch/Money for lunch.
> Mouthguard (these are mandatory and all players must wear one whilst playing, unless they are exempted by medical certificate. I have a couple of cheap (new) ones that I can sell to people on Sunday, however it's always better to get your own one first so that you can mould it properly, etc.
As for game Jerseys, those that already have should bring their White game jerseys on Sunday. Those that don't will get given them on the day.
At the moment, those traveling on Sunday are;
Chris Sharp (Making own way there)
Marc Walden
Kieran
Rico
Gary
Scott Dyker
Me
Adam Ross (Making own way there)
Stu Bothwell (TBC)
Nick
Calum
Scott Forbes
If I've missed anyone out from that list please let me know asap.
Think that's everything, any questions just let me know!
Cheers,
Mike
