Hey guys
sorry I've been MIA for a while, been grinding away at uni work.
I've been checking back on here every so often and haven't seen much change for a few weeks. I just wanted to check that there's still gonna be an Oilcats team this year?
I don't know if the season officially started or not, but if there is still a team, I wondered how easy it is for me to sign up for it this year? I remember Lewis joined us late last season, so I guess it could be done?
Even if there isn't a team this year, I was wondering how people feel about still having regular training? Put in some grunt work for the next season and get a bunch of new/young people interested when the time comes.
I don't know how long I'd be up in Inverurie before I get my first post-uni job, but I'd at least be here over the summer until September (hopefully). Depending on things, I could be up for training this Sunday (17th) if it's still on.
Cheers
Marc

Hi Marc,
Howz things?
Yep there's still a team..Looking quite good at the moment! The season won't be starting until early to mid June (there was a delay with getting the league going this year) so there's still plenty of time for you to get registered before the first game (even if you don't register before then you can still register at any time, although you won't be able to play any games before you do).
At the moment we have two training sessions each week:
Sundays at 1.15pm at Inchgarth Community Centre
and
Wednesdays at 6.15pm at Morrison Drive Park (This is a slightly more informal training session where we usually do a couple of drills and then have a game to get everyone used to game situations, it's not mandatory that people attend but obviously the more that do, the better it is).
Training is indeed on this Sunday (17th).
Hope to see you soon,
Cheers,
Mike

that's cool Mike
should hopefully be able to get up this Sunday,
tonight's unlikely, and so are most Wednesdays until I'm properly back up (end of May / beginning of June). I'll let you know of holidays and stuff I've got booked over the summer once I get up this Sunday.
