hey guys,
It with mixed emotions that I tell you all that I'm leaving Aberdeen.
For Laura & I this is very much what we want to do. Getting closer to friends and family down in Perth has been our intention for some time now and an opportunity has opened up that allows us to do just that.
I can't over exaggerate just how important this team has been to me. When we first moved to this dreich northern toon we knew next to nobody. I joined the oilcats and never looked back. I have made friendships within this team that will last a lifetime, and I genuinely mean that.
I wish the team the absolute very best for the future and I urge all of you to invest the time and energy required to keep this team afloat. But be warned.....I will be starting a team in Perth!
For the next few weeks I will be attending training but this will become more difficult as we move to get the flat on the market and we ultimately move to Perth.
Don't be strangers!
adds QB1 #88 (number of players I have signed up for the Perthshire Wolverines)
P.S. If anyone wants a lovely 1 bedroom flat then let me know!! (new bathroom and kitchen)

Hi Adam All the best to you and laura for the future. You have been a great QB and ambassador for the Oilcats. I really enjoyed seeing you develop that "short" passing game! Hope to see you before you go. Best regards Gordon

All the best big man, hope the move to Perth works out for you. Cheers for the advice and stuff while you've been up. But no trying to pinch me for Wolverines, am sticking with the Oilcats at least one more season.

Ha ha, Dundee has one reason, and one reason only for being there, its so people going from Aberdeen to Edinburgh/Glasgow can stop and take a wizz at the Tesco's on the Kingsway!

Dundee's a toilet all right It's ok as a university city and all that, but after 4 years here, it's definitely time for a change of scene.

Have said most of this in person but just thought I would put it on here to and wish Adam and Laura all of the best in the future and to thank Adam for all of the things that he has done - both on and off the field - for the club over the past fews years. Had it not been for him we would have probably never gotten our new jerseys!
Who would have thought that when he came to us as a Wide Receiver a few years back he would turn into, in my opinion, one of the top QBs in the Flag League. There were moments last season when it was a joy to watch you play Adam, although I'm sure some of our receivers will be breathing a huge sigh of relief that their fingers are no longer in danger of being broken by the force of your passes! Haha..
Keep in touch and once again, all the best for the future (hopefully we'll maybe be able to get a few guest appearances from you this year? ;D).
All the best with the Perthshire Wolverines, here's hoping they become the second best team in Britain (behind us of course! ;D)
Cheers,
Mike

Hey Adds, Hope you and Laura managed to get down the road OK on Saturday and the head wasn't too fragile. Hopefully we will catch you at some of the games (like all of them ) this season. Like I said on Friday night, thanks for making me feel so welcome when I first arrived at the training sessions. Cheers Marc
